The purpose of our children's program is to instill confidence in our youth as they develop themselves from the inside out. It's a balance of both mental and physical training in order to create well rounded individuals that understand how to better their lives through hard work and discipline. Students enrolled in this program will find themselves learning a variety of Traditional Japanese Arts like calligraphy, short staff (hanbo) and even conversational Japanese. As students are immersed in the language, etiquette and customs they begin to feel part of something bigger than themselves and learn to contribute to the environment as they develop their focus. Tsukahara Bokuden, a fanous swordsman taught that, "mental bearing, not skill, is the sign of a matured samurai." This program takes Martial arts training to a new level and is set up to expose students to new ideas and traditional arts that they are encouraged to pursue as they uncover their hidden talents, strengths and interests.
