Requirements:
- Must meet with the instructor at least 3x a month
- Must complete shukudai (homework) before next class
- Must be willing to learn all aspects of the Japanese language including:
reading, writing, culture, etc.

Tune Your Ears is all about listening comprehension and developing your ability to pick out vocab and grammar out of what seemed like a bunch of gibberish at first.

Vocabulary is critical to any language of course. The student in this program will be expected to learn seven new vocabulary words a day.

Grammar is the structure of the sentence that you input the vocabulary into. Grammar is one of the more difficult parts of Japanese to learn from a book, but our classes make learning grammar simple and fun.

Making Mistakes is part of learning anything new. The sooner you realize that mistakes are okay and just part of the process, the more you will leave your comfort zone and practice speaking Japanese.

Reading and Writing Japanese can seem like an impossible task, but our program integrates kana and kanji at a gradual pace that will have you reading and writing Japanese must faster than you think.
